Les Fruits - 2024 Gonzo Cups Matured in 2500 litre AmericalOld vine Grenache blended with young Cinsault from Wayne Ahrens on the sands of Vine Vale. Carbonic matrimony for 2 weeks. Pressed without crushing into tank to finish its sugar before aging 9 months in mostly large old oak. Ferment usually takes around 6 weeks but the results are worth it. Soft pale red with old ruby and orange highlights. The carbo is fairly pronounced this year with lots of pink floral and strawberry bubblegum. Its complexity
