The design features the Sarwa (Cypress Tree) motif a vertical, symbolic pattern associated with resilience and continuity, historically present in Palestinian embroidery, including designs connected to the Ashdod region. The earrings are designed by Palestinian artist Ghenva Alkabra, who teaches and
