not unctuous but offers very good intensity and snap

the muscular fruit is densely packed at this youthful stage

The 2011 Blanc de Noirs Côte de Béchalin is terrific

The medium weight flavors are not quite as dense though they are finer with a velvety texture that smooths off the less rustic yet serious finish. This too is going to require at least some patience.
