The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Red Rock Terrace comes from seven acres of the 20-acre vineyard (whereas the Gravelly Meadow emerges from five acres)

There are some herbal tones in the mix too that add complexity and prevent an overly sweet perception

Henri Boillot, Echezeaux Vintage:2020 The nose is high-pitched(from En Orveaux). A softly spicy nose speaks of purple fruit, floral and an appealing whiff of Asian style tea. There is a bit more mid palate density to the medium bodied flavors that combine good power with evident muscle on the firm, dusty, serious and youthfully austere finish. This will require at least some forbearance as its clearly constructed for the longer term.
