This is a wine of contrasts as the mid-palate is rich to the point of opulence

The finish has a hint of dusty tannins in the endnote

Chateau Puligny Montrachet, Chassagne Montrachet Size:12x750ml (from purchased grapes that Perrot(from a 50 50 blend of Les Houillres and Champ Derrire). Riper aromas include those of rosemary oil, resin and white peach. The tighter and punchier medium bodied flavors possess very good mid palate density while the finish delivers a bit more depth though not quite the same refinement, indeed this is borderline rustic. Even so, its a quality villages and worth considering.
