Resuscitation served as a de facto introduction to the duo in 2001, collecting songs on CD (and later, vinyl) that had only previously been available on hard to find singles and EPs. At the time, the albums combination of crisp beats, discordant synth patterns, and Nicola Kuperus' detached monotone sounded like a
