Sam learned DJing and music production at MEMCO (Michigan Electronic Music Collective) while attending the University of Michigan. He spent his school years getting in touch with the historical and underground music of Southeast Michigan. In fact, Bob himself, after graduating from the University of Michigan about 60 years ago, challenged the cutting edge avant garde music of the time
