19th Century Pewter Quart Measure Clown Approx 6 cm (2 1/3a 19th Century Antique Pewter Quart measure with side handle It is marked QUART and on the other side of the handle VR 352 (which was the locale CHECK mark for Kent used from 1879 I understand so the "then" Government equivalent to Weights and Measures has done a check that the measure was accurate) which only means it was checked at that time my research indicates the piece was a design used from the William IV era onwards so most likely an 1840s
