In this very warm vintage the winemaking team opted to block most of the malolactic fermentation (70%) to preserve freshness
The nose is swathed in ripe blackberry and dark-cherry aromas as well as blueberries
This is certainly Gevrey in character but thanks to the relatively fine-grained tannins it avoids any sense of rusticity
although the nose is cut from a different cloth
