It hasn't matured as gracefully as the 2012 Chardonnay from the Sanford & Benedict Vineyard

the lasting impression is not overly astringent

The 2012 Pinot Noir Mills Vineyard comes from 26-year-old own-rooted vines and was harvest September 20 to October 17

Kumeu River, Mates Vineyard Chardonnay other_regions_australia – I know I canVery rich and serious on the nose nuts, nectarines and honeycomb. A mouth filling vinous palate, with mouth watering acidity and a chalky stony note. It grows in the mouth and gets fuller and fuller but always refreshing with it. Just great concentration of fruit and such length a joyous wine. Not often I would call a wine at this price good value, but this is for sure! GV (AC)
