There is fine volume to the relatively sleek medium weight flavors that possess a caressing yet relatively powerful mouthfeel while exhibiting good length on the dry

A more restrained nose grudgingly reveals the essence of plum where additional breadth is present in the form of black raspberry and violet scents

Pierre Girardin, Montrachet Vintage:2020 the primary nose shows chamomile(from Chassagne fruit). Moderately firm reduction overshadows the underlying fruit today. Otherwise there is outstanding volume and power to the more concentrated bigger bodied flavors that retain a lovely sense of refinement and particularly so on the massively persistent finish. As is sometimes the case with very young examples of Montrachet, this will need to add depth to merit the upper end of my projected range but given the extended cellaring
