Clos La Coutale - 2023 Cahors region_Campania fleeing to England and joiningA classic and beautifully balanced expression of Cahors, this 2023 is led by Malbec (80%), supported by Merlot (15%) and a small touch of Tannat for structure. The fruit comes from gently sloping, south west facing vineyards on alluvial clay soils near the river, giving a softer, more approachable style than the regions higher plateau sites. Fermented parcel by parcel in tank, the wine is blended early and then aged for a year in a mix of oak barrels
