Description
Henri Boillot, Bourgogne Blanc Brut Zero(85% from Meursault and Puligny Bourgogne vines and the rest from declassified St. Romain and AuxeyDuresses in equal proportions). There is a whiff of matchstick character to the pear, apple and citrus scents. The racy, intense and well detailed middle weight flavors conclude in a youthfully austere, dry and long finish that offers notably better depth than one typically finds in the genre. 88 2021+
saline-tinged finish
There is a bit more mid-palate volume to the round yet reasonably precise middle weight flavors that coat the palate with dry extract on the slightly more complex and persistent finale
830 cases made
especially for a release from what is widely considered a so-so vintage for Champagne
and certainly one of the finest of the white Chateauneuf du Papes
Round and fruity with chocolate and berry character
pencil shavings and forest floor
since in his opinion he and his colleagues have been on a steep learning curve and were less well-positioned to take full advantage of past vintages that might have been theoretically ideally suited to Riesling trocken

the perfectly balanced palate displays a laser-like texture
with plenty of classic Alban character
This is built-to-age and is going to need plenty of it
