Giovanni Corino, Barolo Vigna Giachini 2004 Alvina Pernot thyme and citrus fruits onThe Giachini is a parcel in the lower part of the Rocche del'Annunziata vineyard. Totally complete and harmonious, round smooth but striking, strong but fine tannins clasp the floral, pure fruit flavours, perfumed crushed, creamy berry flavours notes of cranberry and strawberry, this shows a great balance between power and sweet fruit, almost like a blend of Arborina and Rocche. Utterly seductive. Aged in 50% new oak.
