You can control the stack by adjusting the tension of the wing nut on the cymbal stand. Raising the tension creates a crisp attack and short decay, perfect for fast accents. Looser settings will give you longer sustain. It is effective when combined with a snare drum to strengthen the backbeat, or as a replacement for the snare altogether. Disc sizes
