Released on Feb. 25, 1997 the group's debut was certified Platinum by the RIAA on March 27, 1998 for one million copies sold. Lead single "Sex and Candy" spent 15 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and two other singles were released: "Saint Joe on the School Bus" and "Sherry Fraser". The airplay helped the album to the #21 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums and #61 on the
