Not entirely sure what the history of this is but I've had this print before and it was Alice Edwards "Italians" range

Skirt flares out into a generous fullness and finishes below the knee

and the occasional hand stitches

50s SHEER YELLOW AND GREY STRIPED DAY DRESS - S Autumn CONDITION Good conditionSweet pale yellow and grey striped day dress in a semi sheer crinkled textured nylon. Fitted bodice with a collarless v neck and sleeveless design. Double breasted with eight small shank buttons to fasten. Fitted waistband with side metal zipper. Full skirt sewn in narrow gathers, not massive, but does accommodate a smaller petticoat for added fullness. No labels. Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale. It's also pictured
