although both manufactured by Tuscan Bone China and similar enough so as to appear matching

The casserole stand, manufactured in Sheffield under the Universal Plate trade name is oval in shape and designed with pierced metal sides, handles, a rolled rim and four bun feet. The glass casserole dish , manufactured by Pyrex, England between the 1960s and 1970s is also oval in shape and has a solid rim and a pair of handles crafted on the longitudinal ends.
