The dish is beautifully decorated with a deep blue flowered rim and a crane type bird in the well. Wood & Sons were earthenware manufacturers at the Trent, New Wharf Potteries and later the Stanley Pottery, Burslem. They operated from 1865 to 2005. The bowl is stamped Yuan WOOD & SONS, ENGLAND the registration number is first dated 1916. The dish is in extremely good condition with
