Lucile Boiron / Bouche poster and designIn line with her previous works, the series Bouche delves into the artists family intimacy to probe the boundaries between the monstrous, the mundane, and the desirable. Fragments of bodies, striking close ups of mouths, remnants of decomposed meals, altered skins, enigmatic still lifes, and indeterminate gelatinous materials are featured. Drawing inspiration from the reflections of Julia Kristeva and Barbara Creed on abjection and the monstrous
