The nozzle does not extinguish the battery fire but cools the battery pack from beneath the vehicle. The benefit of the AFAST 10 is its ability to flow water at a lower pressure. The nozzle tip flows between 50 and 90 gallons per minute. The nozzle and tip pipe are attached to an aluminum base plate
