The Kestrel shape is probably the best known and most sought after shape that was introduced by Susie in 1932
decorate the rim and the bowl has been fitted with a pair of facet cut handles
White Colditz clay was already used prior to 1730 as one of Boettger porcelain (Meissen) ingredients
each with matching trim and embossed scroll motifs
A spade shaped Austrian Art Pottery ashtray decorated in extensive enamelled floral patterning along with white enamel beads on the rim

The bowl has a graduating linear pattern on the pedestal which is copied on the lid as well. The bowl is not marked or stamped. The bowl unfortunately lost its lid finial for the lift on off of the lid, which can be replaced with a beautiful little door knob. The bowl also has some scuff marks due to age and requires a good polish. It is however still in very good usable condition
