Spode Fine Stone Fitzhugh Red Patterned Tea Duo Stoneware Both items are in veryThis version of the Fitzhugh pattern by Spode was produced between 1954 until its discontinuation in 1990, although the first trace of this pattern by Spode can be dated back to 1800 and has been repeated by Spode in different forms ever since. The pattern was inspired by hand paintings from the Orient and originated from three representatives of the Fitzhugh family, two who were sea captains and the third a director of the Dutch East India Company.
