Rare Vintage Ionian Islands Ring ac maker's mark H•AThis stunning ring, hailing from the midcentury, has clearly been modelled after an antique favourite, and obviously well loved. We could hardly say it better than The British Museum: The seven islands and their symbols as listed by the ILN are: Ithaca with a head of Ulysses, Santa Maura (present day Lefkada) with a harp, as the death place of Sappho, Cephalonia with Cephalus, a dart and K, in the centre Corfu with arms and emblems, Zante (Zakynthos)
