Vintage 1980-1990’s Fine Porcelain Tea Duo – Floral Patterning VanityManufactured in China between the 1980s and 1990s by the Zhongguo Zhi Zao firm and decorated with colourful floral patterning, the item is a very unique vintage fine porcelain tea duo consisting of the tea cup and saucer, each with gold trim and scalloped rims. The tea cup has been beautifully designed with fluted sides and a ornate scroll handle. Stamped underneath with the Made in China mark for Zhongguo Zhi Zao (double Phoenix H mark). The tea duo
The item is a fine porcelain tea trio manufactured during the 1960’s under the Lara Ware trade name and consisting of the tea cup
and two chips one underneath the rim and one visible on the rim (please see picture)
Width of handle: 1 cm
The original painting from which this embroidery was made is officially titled – “Young Girl Reading” or “The Reader” and is an 18th century oil painting by French artist Jean-Honore Fragonard
which was actually released during the 1940’s and discontinued during the 1950’s
the jar and lid is in excellent condition and can be re-used
