and allowing a photo to be taken with such little light

meaning my feet were soaked within an hour and I spent the next 5 hours in the snow with wet shoes

loved the place and badly wanted to move here one day

The vantage point from which to view this famous scene was so crowded and cramped when I say this

Each image was a 3 minute exposure, so this final image is essentially a 9 minute recording of a beautiful sunset over Central Park. This was my very first attempt at stitching long exposures together. The colors almost border on the fantasy, but the actual colors at the time were just as extraordinary.
