St Nektarios of Aegina - 4.5 x 6 (Cherry) Blessed Seraphim Rose Our Made Without Hands pendantSt Nektarios of Aegina was born in Selymbria in Turkey in 1846. At the age of 14 he moved to Constantinople to work and to further his education. In 1866 he left Constantinople for the island of Chios where he became a monk at the age of 30. Three years after becoming a monk he was ordained a deacon, taking the name Nektarios. In 1885 he graduated from the University of Athens having written many books and bible commentaries while attending
